About Our Bank
Montezuma Savings Bank opened for business on February 22nd, 1892 after four local businessmen suggested Montezuma was in need of another bank. Years later, the bank was reorganized and the name was changed to Montezuma State Bank in 1931. In 1966, the bank expanded after purchasing Fullmer Grocery Store on the corner of the square. Today, the bank presently sits on the northeast corner of the Montezuma square, in the heart of downtown Montezuma.
